So everytime I go to read everyone else's blogs it makes me feel a little more guilty for not posting on my blog more often. I will try to do better.

This has been kind of a fun week. On Thursday I took the day off work, for no other reason than to wrap presents. Do you blame me? I had to have one day before the kids were out of school for Christmas break to wrap and get organized and make sure I had everything. It was fun.

Then I went to watch them sing their Christmas songs at school. I put on my snow boots and walked through the 8 inches of new snow that had just fallen. Its a good thing we live so close to the school.

Friday I had a work party at UVU. They fed us mediocre food and gave out just a few door prizes. Voicemale performed for the entertainment, that was the best part, they are really good. We dropped the kids off at Mark's Dads with a couple of movies. I think Syd likes the company, since Kimi's in Okinawa for 3 months. Mark and I enjoyed the "grown-up time.

So now Christmas break has begun and the kids will be home for the next two weeks. I'm actually looking forward to it. I took most of the days off of work. Normally I would tell myself I would use these next couple of weeks to get the house cleaned and organized besides doing fun Christmas stuff with the kids, but I changed my mind and decided the house could wait and I'm just going to focus on doing fun Christmas stuff with the kids. Austin has been complaining that we never do anything fun on school breaks, so I think we will be a little more creative this break.

I know its been a long time since I posted something, Its just there isn't a whole lot going on to post about. We just had thanksgiving and it was really great. All the food was delicious. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins.
Of course I was done with my hcg injections right before Thanksgiving and I ate way too much, and all the leftovers made me eat way too much again, so starting tomorrow I go back to eating very healthy and lose those few pounds I gained this week. Don't you just love the diet rollercoaster!
So I decided to hit the sales on Black Friday, and can I just tell you what a joke that was! The lines to get into the stores were absolutely ridiculous, and all those "door busters" were gone within 30 seconds of opening. I think I've had good luck with those sales maybe once out of the last 5 years that I've gone. So needless to say I'm pretty sure this was the last time I even attempt Black Friday.
I can't believe we are into December already. This year has just disappeared.
I'm going to post pictures soon. I had Jason take some new pictures of my family and I think they turned out pretty good.

Birthdays and Halloween

Well Kaden had his birthday last week. For his party he decided to take a few of his friends to jump-on-it in Lindon. For those of you that don't know what that is, it's a big warehouse with lots of trampolines all lined up with a net around it and trampolines on the walls. So the kids can just go nuts and wear themselves out. Then we came home and had pizza and cherry pie. It was so fun.
We also celebrated Austins birthday last week with his very first slumber party. Imagine six 10-11 year-old boys watching scary movies, having wars with nerf guns, eating as much junk food as they can possibly stuff in their stomachs and staying up until 3am. It was really crazy, but Austin said it was the funnest birthday he's ever had.
Tonight the kids went trick-or-treating, our neighborhood had trunk-or-treat at the church parking lot, where the kids got most of their treats. That was great because everything is so close together and safe for the kids, and I just sit in the back of my car and hand out candy to the mobs of kids walking by. Then of couse they wanted to go to a few of the houses in the neighborhood, (one neighbor even serves hot dogs and rootbeer out of their garage, the kids loved that!). Luckily the kids got worn out pretty quickly and wanted to come home. Trust me they had plenty of candy.

So I started a new diet today. I am going on a low calorie diet using hcg injections. The first two days are binge days were you eat as much as you can, then after that you cut your calories back to 500 calories a day.
Today is my binge day. But what is funny is I finally have a day when I am supposed to be eating tons of food, even junk food and I don't really want to. Don't get me wrong, I'm still eating a ton, I just thought I would enjoy it more. Cake, cookies, doughnuts, but don't worry I've thrown some healthy things in there too... grilled salmon, rice, seaweed stirfry (Mark's mom made it and it was delicious), a turkey sandwich, a little bit of ice cream, and now I have to go figure out what to make for dinner. Also I might make some caramel popcorn for dessert, I will miss caramel popcorn.

I know, I know, I really need to get some pictures up and I will very soon, I'm thinking early next week.
We are preparing for the last camping trip of the season this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. We are going to the sand dunes I think. So when I get back from there I will post some pictures of all the fun we had. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful. We are leaving Friday morning and will come home Sunday morning.

Things are going good at our house. I'm starting to get a little excited by the chill in the air because that means the holidays are coming. I just love that time of year. But on the other hand I'm very sad because it wont be nice and warm outside anymore
Mark and I just got back from Parent-teacher conference tonight, and I'm happy to say all three kids are doing very well. Not one of their teachers had anything negative to say, and all their grades look great. Maybe all my nagging is paying off.
We also attended a seminar tonight at a chiropractors office on the hcg diet. Imagine losing a pound a day, that is the stuff my dreams are made of. Anyways still thinking about it.
I promise I will gets some pictures up soon

I'm new at this blog thing so be patient

I just keep seeing all these great blogs out there, so I thought I would start one for myself and my beautiful family. In the past I've not been very good at keeping up with emails, blogging, scrapbooking....etc. But I've decided to give it a try.
