Birthdays and Halloween

Well Kaden had his birthday last week. For his party he decided to take a few of his friends to jump-on-it in Lindon. For those of you that don't know what that is, it's a big warehouse with lots of trampolines all lined up with a net around it and trampolines on the walls. So the kids can just go nuts and wear themselves out. Then we came home and had pizza and cherry pie. It was so fun.
We also celebrated Austins birthday last week with his very first slumber party. Imagine six 10-11 year-old boys watching scary movies, having wars with nerf guns, eating as much junk food as they can possibly stuff in their stomachs and staying up until 3am. It was really crazy, but Austin said it was the funnest birthday he's ever had.
Tonight the kids went trick-or-treating, our neighborhood had trunk-or-treat at the church parking lot, where the kids got most of their treats. That was great because everything is so close together and safe for the kids, and I just sit in the back of my car and hand out candy to the mobs of kids walking by. Then of couse they wanted to go to a few of the houses in the neighborhood, (one neighbor even serves hot dogs and rootbeer out of their garage, the kids loved that!). Luckily the kids got worn out pretty quickly and wanted to come home. Trust me they had plenty of candy.

So I started a new diet today. I am going on a low calorie diet using hcg injections. The first two days are binge days were you eat as much as you can, then after that you cut your calories back to 500 calories a day.
Today is my binge day. But what is funny is I finally have a day when I am supposed to be eating tons of food, even junk food and I don't really want to. Don't get me wrong, I'm still eating a ton, I just thought I would enjoy it more. Cake, cookies, doughnuts, but don't worry I've thrown some healthy things in there too... grilled salmon, rice, seaweed stirfry (Mark's mom made it and it was delicious), a turkey sandwich, a little bit of ice cream, and now I have to go figure out what to make for dinner. Also I might make some caramel popcorn for dessert, I will miss caramel popcorn.

I know, I know, I really need to get some pictures up and I will very soon, I'm thinking early next week.
We are preparing for the last camping trip of the season this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. We are going to the sand dunes I think. So when I get back from there I will post some pictures of all the fun we had. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful. We are leaving Friday morning and will come home Sunday morning.

Things are going good at our house. I'm starting to get a little excited by the chill in the air because that means the holidays are coming. I just love that time of year. But on the other hand I'm very sad because it wont be nice and warm outside anymore
Mark and I just got back from Parent-teacher conference tonight, and I'm happy to say all three kids are doing very well. Not one of their teachers had anything negative to say, and all their grades look great. Maybe all my nagging is paying off.
We also attended a seminar tonight at a chiropractors office on the hcg diet. Imagine losing a pound a day, that is the stuff my dreams are made of. Anyways still thinking about it.
I promise I will gets some pictures up soon

I'm new at this blog thing so be patient

I just keep seeing all these great blogs out there, so I thought I would start one for myself and my beautiful family. In the past I've not been very good at keeping up with emails, blogging, scrapbooking....etc. But I've decided to give it a try.
