Birthdays and Halloween

Well Kaden had his birthday last week. For his party he decided to take a few of his friends to jump-on-it in Lindon. For those of you that don't know what that is, it's a big warehouse with lots of trampolines all lined up with a net around it and trampolines on the walls. So the kids can just go nuts and wear themselves out. Then we came home and had pizza and cherry pie. It was so fun.
We also celebrated Austins birthday last week with his very first slumber party. Imagine six 10-11 year-old boys watching scary movies, having wars with nerf guns, eating as much junk food as they can possibly stuff in their stomachs and staying up until 3am. It was really crazy, but Austin said it was the funnest birthday he's ever had.
Tonight the kids went trick-or-treating, our neighborhood had trunk-or-treat at the church parking lot, where the kids got most of their treats. That was great because everything is so close together and safe for the kids, and I just sit in the back of my car and hand out candy to the mobs of kids walking by. Then of couse they wanted to go to a few of the houses in the neighborhood, (one neighbor even serves hot dogs and rootbeer out of their garage, the kids loved that!). Luckily the kids got worn out pretty quickly and wanted to come home. Trust me they had plenty of candy.

I am so glad I wasn't even in the same zip code for the slumber party. Did the police get called? I can only imagine.

You apparently still have some work to do on the photo aspect of your blog. Start taking those pics. What were the kids dressed up like for halloween?
